Almost a year now though! Woo!
I know, like holy woah, one entire year. It honestly blows my mind.
I like how the Perks tag is either filled with people absolutely hating the trailer or going on about how it’s “the best thing ever”. I dunno, I mean I liked the trailer. I think the movie will be enjoyable. But I don’t think it’ll convey the same feeling as the book did. I just think everyone needs to take a step back and calm themselves. It’s definitely not perfect, but it looks pretty alright.
I mean, the book was really great, practically perfection, and I think that film based of literature is a really wonderful thing. When you read the book and the characters and everything becomes real, but then it’s turned into a film it’s this whole other kind of real. They’re both entirely different experiences, but I think that’s part of what makes it so fun. We all have our preferences, but in the end weather it be through literature or film these are the stories and characters we’ve come to know. They’re just different ways of telling and seeing them.

And I don’t really care what happens we can never change the fact that this is where it all began. Before this we were just 2 strangers living across the county, completely unaware of one another’s existence. And now look at us. We’re BEST FRIENDS. And this is where it all began.
